PURPOSE: A control management method for unifying network elements in a wireless communication system is provided to unitedly accommodate the network elements such as a PCF(Packet Control Function) and a PDSN(Packet Data Service Node) function and accommodate a simple IP agent function and a link layer termination function of a mobile terminal in the PCF. CONSTITUTION: An NAI is extracted from a received simple IP registration request message, and it is judged whether a corresponding subscriber NAI is authenticated(402). If the NAI is not authenticated, an authentication message is transmitted to an AAA(Authorization Authentication Accounting) server(403). When an authentication acknowledgement message is received from the AAA server, the authentication acknowledgement is updated in database(404). After the authentication is completed, an IP(Internet Protocol) negotiation is performed to assign an IP address(405). A PPP(Point-to-Point Protocol) authentication is terminated(406).
