PURPOSE: A method of implementing a speed dial in an overlap is provided to control digits transmitted to a base station from an overlap, thereby implementing a speed dial function and improving a function of a WLL terminal under overlap environment. CONSTITUTION: A terminal transmits a call transmission message to a base station after the terminal is in an off-hook state, and opens a traffic channel(S100-S112). The base station transmits an LE(Local Exchange) dial tone to the terminal after the terminal opens a vocoder(S114,S116). The terminal closes the traffic channel by pressing a soft key 1, and presses a memory address number(S118-S122). The terminal stores a telephone number stored in a memory address within a buffer, and presses a soft key 2(S124,S126). The traffic channel is opened as the soft key 2 is pressed, and the terminal transmits a dial number stored in the memory address to the base station(S128,S130).
