CHUNGSIMWON AS BEZOAR BOVIS SUBSTITUTE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A process of preparing the titled chungsimwon(Korean native name) as a modified prescription using Acori Graminei Rhizoma as a Bezoar Bovis substitute is provided. Because this chungsimwon has the same efficacy as well-known woohwang-chungsimwon(woohwang means Bezoar Bovis), it can substitute the woohwang-chungsimwon. CONSTITUTION: A material is powered or extracted in water, ethyl or a mixture thereof and then added with an adjuvant, which material is selected from Dioscoreae Rhizoma, Glycyrrhizae Radix, Ginseng Radix, Typha Pollen, Massa Medicata Fermentata, Glycine Semen Germinatum, Cinnamomi Cortex, Gelatinum, Paeoniae Radix, Scutellariae Radix, Angelicae Gigantis Radix, Ledebouriellae Radix, Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, Bupleuri Radix, Platycodi Radix, Armeniacae Semen, Acori Graminei Rhizoma, Cornu Saigae Tataricae, Moschus, Borneolum, Ampelopsis japonica(Thunb.) Makino and Zingiberis Rhizoma.
