PURPOSE: An insulating dimpling machine for the vehicle body panel dimpling is provided to prevent the lowering of a panel when a dimpled material is loaded by forming dimples in various positions corresponding to the characteristics of the material, to properly change the position of a dimpling tool corresponding to the characteristic of a product, and to adjust the depth of a dimple corresponding to the thickness of a panel. CONSTITUTION: A dimpling machine(200) comprises a base frame(220), a lower frame(240), an upper frame(260), and a control unit(280). The base frame has a ball screw rotating by a servo motor and at least one linear motor guides(226). The lower frame moves horizontally by the servo motor. At least one lower dimpling tools are formed on the upper face through which a thin panel of a tailored blank passes. A guide plastic roller(252) is installed to prevent the lowering of the panel. Upper dimpling tools are formed in the upper frame corresponding to the position of the lower dimpling tools. The control unit controls the transferring of the tailored blank and the operation of the dimpling tools and the servo motor.
