PURPOSE: A system for transmitting a short message is provided to transmit a short message from a wireless mobile communication terminal to a general telephone. CONSTITUTION: An SMSC(Short Message System Control) server(200) receives and processes short message information transmitted from one or more than one mobile communication terminals. A calling server(300) converts short message information received from the SMSC server(200) into a CID(Caller ID), and transmits the CID to a general telephone through a switch(400). The calling server(300) has a log storing database(310) for storing origination records, and a receiving unit(320) for using a calling server CID as a reception-side number and receiving message information including a message recipient number and message contents of the mobile communication terminal and a message sender CID transmitted from the SMSC server(200). The calling server(300) includes a message separating unit(330) for separating the message recipient number from message information, a transmitting unit(340) uses the calling server CID as a transmission-side number, uses the separated message recipient number as the reception-side number, and transmits the message sender CID and message information including the message contents to the switch(400). |
