PURPOSE: A device for testing a voice service of a base station/control station sub system is provided to test a voice service of a base station or a control station sub system by supporting asynchronous voice CODEC, thereby measuring a capacity of the base station or the control station sub system. CONSTITUTION: An ATM interface(100) receives data from a base station/control station sub system to transmit serial data to a PHY(Physical) processor(200), and receives transmission data from the PHY processor(200) to transmit data to the base station/control station sub system. The PHY processor(200) converts the serial data in parallel to transmit ATM cell information extracted from the converted data to a central processing module(300), and transmits ATM cell information of the central processing module(300) to the ATM interface(100). The central processing module(300) transmits the received data of the PHY processor(200) to a vocoder module(400), and transmits data of the vocoder module(400) to the PHY processor(200). The vocoder module(400) performs an AMR(Adaptive Multi Rate) voice CODEC process for the received data to transmit the data to a PSTN interface(500), and encodes voice data of the PSTN interface(500) to transmit the encoded data to the central processing module(300). |
