PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing electret filter is provided to improve collection performance by having static electricity of the filters themselves contained in various industrial filters such as melting blown nonwoven fabric, needle punched nonwoven fabric, and nonwoven fabric or fabric cloth made of PP, PE and PET. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for manufacturing an electret filter retaining both positive electric charge and negative electric charge by electric charging a sheet for filter (F') by corona electric discharge, the apparatus for manufacturing the electret filter is characterized in that an electric discharge part(10,10') comprises needle-shaped electrodes(11,11') in which a plurality of electrode needles for impressing the anode or the cathode to a circular arc shaped body are arranged in equal distance and distribution; and roller electrodes(15,15') which are concentrically arranged with the needle-shaped electrodes in a way that the roller electrodes maintain a certain distance from the inner circumference of the needle-shaped electrodes so that opposite polarity to the needle-shaped electrodes is impressed to the roller electrodes, on the outer circumference of which a dielectric film or membrane(17) is covered, and which is surface contacted with the sheet for filter so that the sheet for filter (F') is transferred between the roller electrodes and the needle-shaped electrodes.
