<p>1,083,421. Frequency changing. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Jan. 15, 1965 [Feb. 7, 1964], No. 1813/65. Heading H2F. A circuit for supplying a load from an A.C. source has two resonant circuits. The first consists of a first inductor 33 and a capacitor 34 in series with the A.C. source 31. The second consists of a second inductor 35, triac 30, the capacitor 34 and load 32. The first circuit has a resonance frequency higher than the supply frequency and lower than the resonance frequency of the second circuit. The triac is fired at a frequency equal to or greater than the supply frequency. Variations of the circuit are disclosed (Figs. 3 to 9, not shown).</p> |
