PURPOSE: A call service method for a wireless terminal is provided to display an icon for retrieving a telephone number during the performance of an abbreviated dial and an icon for converting the operation of a speaker phone during the function performance of the speaker phone. CONSTITUTION: A control unit checks whether an abbreviated dial key is sensed by the input of a user during the performance of a standby mode(311,313). If the abbreviated dial key is sensed, the control unit displays an abbreviated dial icon on a screen, retrieves an address corresponding to the abbreviated dial key from an abbreviated dial list, and displays a corresponding name and telephone number(315). The control unit checks whether the input of a scroll key or the abbreviated dial key is sensed by the user(317). If the input of the scroll key or the abbreviated dial key is sensed, the control unit displays a name and telephone number stored in an address moved according to the input of the scroll key or the abbreviated dial key(319). The control unit checks whether a call key is inputted(321). If the call key is not inputted during a certain time, the control unit checks whether the abbreviated dial icon is selected by the user(323). If the abbreviated dial icon is selected by the user, the control unit displays the abbreviated dial list on the screen(325). The control unit checks whether a selection key is inputted for selecting a specific one among the displayed items(327). If the selection key is inputted, the control unit displays a connecting message on the screen(329) and dials a telephone number corresponding to the selected item(331). If a call connects by the response of an object, the control unit performs a call mode(333).
