The method includes mounting a sprinkler (2) in the ceiling of a room (1) and it has four nozzles (3) which are directed obliquely outward and downward. A concentrated fog like spray (4) is obtd. by a certain combination of the distance between the nozzles and the spray head. Air can be sucked into the spray head (2) along the ceiling of the room. The concentrated liq. spray is scattered after a while by mixing in a high pressure gas. This helps to tackle the flames in the corners of the room.
