PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize driving control in accordance with the direction of rotation of a motor in a motor driving device for a camera. SOLUTION: This motor driving device for camera is constituted of a driving circuit part driving a motor M which is built in a camera and is rotatable in both directions and a control circuit part switching the direction of rotation of the motor M by controlling the driving circuit part. The driving circuit part includes a constant current circuit driving the motor M with a constant current and a constant voltage circuit driving the motor M with a constant voltage. The control circuit part switches the constant current circuit and the constant voltage circuit in accordance with the direction of rotation of the motor M by controlling the driving circuit part. When the driving device is applied to, for example, shutter drive, the side of the control circuit part can be set also to a signal level having high control accuracy by making the motor M to be in the constant current control at the time of opening a shutter. Conversely, the utilization factor of a power source can be enhanced by making the motor M to be in the constant voltage control at the time of closing the shutter. |
