PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber grating manufacturing device that can efficiently form a grating having prescribed optical characteristics in a plurality of optical fibers. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a plurality of mask aligners 2 that individually mount more than one optical fibers F and optical elements (mirrors) 11, 12, 13 that split a laser beam (ultraviolet rays) of a prescribed beam width outputted from a laser light source 3 into a plurality of laser beams L1, L2, L3 and guide the beams to the aligners, respectively. In addition, optical path interceptors 14, 15, 16 are installed in optical paths of the split laser beams respectively, the operations of the optical path interceptors 14, 15, 16 are separately controlled while the optical characteristics of the grating are measured by a photometer 20. |
