PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital data receiver of a head end, capable of receiving various bursts whose modulation types and symbol rates are different. SOLUTION: This digital receiver is constituted of an RF circuit 10, a demodulator 14, and a control circuit or a CPU 20. A timing regeneration circuit reproduces a symbol block, and detects the start of burst, and a circuit amplifier and an equalizer calculate the gain, phase, and frequency offset, and trance and correct them. A decoder decodes TCMs and bursts which are not TCMs, and these are used for error correction of payload data. |
