PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame member capable of preventing each end of an outer decorative member from being separated from a core. SOLUTION: The frame member 1 comprises a long core 2 and an exterior decorative member 3 bonded to one surface 2a and both side faces 2c and 2d of the core 2 in such a manner as to be wrapped around the core 2, with both ends 3a and 3b of the member being bonded to the other face 2b of the core 2. The side faces 2c and 2d of the core 2 are provided with longitudinally extending grooves 4 for taking up expansion.
