PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system capable of monitoring the operating state of each manufacture line at a reception side in a simple constitution regardless of the difference of signal formats at an Andon display system side. SOLUTION: An Andon display system 10 for displaying the operating state of each manufacture line in the respective lighting states of a plurality of emitters is imaged by a CCD camera 20, and transmitted as picture data, and a control part 32 of a monitor device 30 calculates the time average of the brightness of the respective pixels of the picture data for a prescribed time, and calculates the spatial average of the brightness of the pixels in the respective picture recognition frames of a picture recognition frame array initialized so as to be matched with the respective emitters with respect to the mean picture data obtained as the result of the time average. Thus, it is possible to recognize the emitting states of the those emitters.
