PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic wave and electromagnetic wave absorbing material which is formed by adding an electromagnetic wave absorption function to the conventional acoustic wave absorbing material, such as a glass fiber board, while maintaining the conventional sound absorption performance without particularly increasing its thickness and mass and is light in weight and compact. SOLUTION: This acoustic wave and electromagnetic wave absorbing material of a laminated structure is formed by arranging an acoustic wave absorption layer on the incident side of acoustic wave and electromagnetic waves and an electromagnetic wave absorption layer on the back side thereof, in which the bulk density of the acoustic wave absorption layer is 20 to 100 kg/m<3> and the bulk density of the electromagnetic wave absorption layer is 4 to 12 kg/m<3> .
