PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera where in an assembling process is simplified. SOLUTION: The camera 1 is provided with the camera body 10, a gear mechanism 8 for driving the movable lens barrel 112 of a zoom lens part 11, and a strobe light emitting tube 61 for illuminating an object. A stroboscope holder 60 for holding the strobe light emitting tube 61 is attached to the camera body 10. The stroboscope holder 60 is constituted not only to hold the strobe light emitting tube 61 but also to hold the gear mechanism 8 while sandwiching each gear 81 to 87 of the gear mechanism 8 between the holder 60 and the front side of the camera body 10. Then, the assembling process is simplified, and also the number of components is reduced.
