PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system having an emergency light function, capable of materializing load leveling of power, functioning as an emergency lamp, lighting all lamps, having emergency lighting on all of plural lighting systems disposed, determining brightness and a lighting time at the time of emergency lighting, and easily disposing the emergency light. SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with a commercial power supply 2, a battery power supply 5 changed by the commercial power supply 2, an lighting circuit 7 connected to the commercial power supply 2 and the battery power supply 5 through a changeover switch 4, a lamp 8 connected to the lighting circuit 7, a control device 9 to control the changeover switch 4 so as to charge the battery power supply 5 in a time zone except a peak power demand and to light the lamp 8 with the battery power supply 5 in a time zone of the peak power demand, and a commercial power supply detecting circuit 3 for detecting cut off of the commercial power supply 2. |
