PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, its method and program capable of classifying images efficiently and appropriately. SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus, images are inputted from an image input part 1 and a CPU 2 decides an image to be compared to classify images to be processed based on the input time of the images. Meanwhile, an operating part 7 designates preconditions showing classification of the images. The CPU 2 sets a threshold to discriminate similarity between the images of the processing object and the images of comparison object based on the designated classification preconditions. Next, it discriminates the similarity between the images of the processing object and the images of the comparison object based on the threshold. Then, the CPU 2 imparts group attributes indicating a group to which the images belong of the processing object based on the result of discrimination. |
