PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for optical system, which is suitable for miniaturize an optical disk device. SOLUTION: The device for driving optical system is provided with a plurality of positioning devices (30 to 33) which positions the spot of an optical beam with respect to the information recording position of the optical disk, a detection means (8) which detects light reflected from the optical disk, a plurality of driving signal generation means (13 to 15 and 20) which generate a plurality of driving signals which drive respective positioning means on the basis of the detected result of the reflected light, a transformation means (24) which transforms the plurality of driving signals into a multiplexed signal, a decording means (25) which decords the multiplexed signal into a plurality of signals, and driving means (26 to 29) which drive each of the plurality of positioning means on the basis of the plurality of decorded signals.
