PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording and reproducing device which can prevent the sound leakage of motor noises or the like from the inside of device or invasion of dust or the like to the inside of device by surely hermetically sealing the disk loading/ejecting port of a front panel with a tray cover by supporting the tray cover to be vertically and horizontally swung by the spring force of a leaf spring in respect to a main body of the tray. SOLUTION: A main body 6 of the tray which can be moved from a tray inlet/outlet 5 on a front panel 2 of a main body 1 of disk player to an ejecting position and a housing position, is provided with a tray cover 7 for closing the tray inlet/outlet when the relevant main body 6 of the tray is pulled into the housing position, and the tray cover 7 is composed of a middle tray cover frame 8 held on the main body 6 of tray and an exterior tray cover panel 10 supported via a leaf spring 9 onto the middle tray cover frame 8 to be vertically and horizontally swung.
