Plaster or cement-based panel made by applying composition mixture to moving support and passing through vibrating extruder

The plaster or cement-based panel is made by mixing a composition with water and applying it to a moving support on a continuous conveyor belt (43), covering its lower and upper surfaces with a fibreglass mesh layer and/or a web. The mixture is passed through a vibrating extruder (33) and cut into sections by water jet. In a variant the upper and lower surface coverings can be of cardboard, and one or both surfaces can have a protective film coating to reduce permeability and enhance its appearance.
