The fencing system consists of supple panels (3) fastened to hollow slotted posts (1) by cylindrical rods (9) with a diameter greater than the width of the posts' slots. Each of the posts is fastened to a base socket (5) set in the ground (2), e.g. by a lug (8) and slot (7). The flexible panels are made from a rot-proof material, e.g. synthetic netting, and the locking rods can be welded to their ends. The posts can be reinforced by in-turned edges to their slots, or can be divided by inner partitions to form sections to receive more than one rod.
