<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a two-dimensional wavelet transformation processor, using a smaller hardware configuration by more effectively utilizing hardware resources. SOLUTION: A filter processor has a vertical DWT processing part (901) for performing filter processing of image data and outputting two types of data obtained with the processing as one set of data, a turning unit (903) for rearranging data outputted from the vertical DWT processing part, so as to turn the data by two sets of the data at a time by 90 deg. and outputting the data, and a horizontal DWT processing part (905) for performing filter processing on the image data, rearranged by the turning unit and outputting two types of data obtained with the processing as one set of data.</p> |
