PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional fuel injection valve manufacturing method wherein the welding strength between a movable core and a valve needle is high and a fuel injection valve with small strain and residual stress is difficult to be manufactured quickly. SOLUTION: This injection fuel valve comprises a movable core 40 having a lower opening 42, and a valve needle 41 having an insertion end 43 inserted and joined in the lower opening 42. The fuel injection valve manufacturing method comprises an abutting portion forming process forming an abutting portion 90 by inserting the insertion end 43 of the valve needle 41 in the lower opening 42 of the movable core 40 and making an inner peripheral surface of the lower opening 42 and an outer peripheral surface of the insertion end 43 abut on each other; and a welding strip forming process forming welding strips 48 extending in a circumferential direction in plural lines in a vertical direction by welding the abutting portion 90.
