PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electrolytic marking device and to enable precise marking even if an object P to be marked is small or if a surface to be marked is curved. SOLUTION: A pen-like marking head 1 is prepared that rubs on along the marking shape of a stencil 3 polymerized on the object P to be marked. The marking head 1 is provided with a water retainer 1B that sticks electrolyte to the tip end of a pen-like holder 1A. The holder 1A is equipped with a pilot lamp 1C that emits light concurrently with energizing and marking. With an electrode clip connected to a metallic plate on which a small object to be marked is placed, the metallic plate and the marking head are mounted on a portable storing body in which a battery for energizing the electrode clip and the marking head is stored.
