PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display wherein the display of the background color having the same color tone regardless of the difference between the external irradiation light beams of day and night is enabled. SOLUTION: In the semitransmission reflection type liquid crystal display wherein a first color filter 12A, a semitransmissive reflection film 14 and a light source 10 are successively disposed on the rear side of a liquid crystal display element 3, a color adjusting means 13B for making the color of the light transmitted through the semitransmissive reflection film 14 from the rear side thereof to the liquid crystal display 3 side coincide with the color of the light transmitted through the first color filter 12A and reflected by the semitransmissive reflection film 14 is provided on the rear side of the semitransmissive reflection film 14. |
