PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an induction heating so that a work can obtain optimum hardening pattern, hardness and low distortion by simultaneously supplying the heating power of two different frequencies to one induction heating coil. SOLUTION: In the two-frequency induction heating method, the work 100 is subjected to the induction heating using two different frequencies. More specifically, the work 100 is subjected to the induction heating by simultaneously supplying or superposing the heating power of one frequency to the heating power of the other frequency for an arbitrary time by performing the induction heating of the work 100 by the heating power of one frequency out of the heating power of the low frequency and the heating power of the high frequency.
