<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device with which the plan for travel can be easily made by making easily graspable allowable length of a stay in a departure point or a destination. SOLUTION: By means of a first input operation means 8a, the destination and a desired time of a visit is inputted. Using map information stored in a map information storage medium, a route retrieval means 7a-1 retrieves a route connecting the departure point to the destination. On the basis of this route, a departure encouraging time computing means 7a-2 calculates a departure recommending time from the departure point for reaching the destination at the desired visit time.</p> |
