PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately stop the high frequency generator when the door is operated to open by turning off two switches connected to a high frequency generator when the swing angle of a door is relatively small. SOLUTION: A heating cooking device comprises the two switches 3 and 4 connected to the high frequency generator and a first transmitting means 6 and a second transmitting means 7 for transmitting the swing movement of the door 5 capable of swinging to open and close the opening part of a heating chamber to the switches 3 and 4. The first transmitting means 6 has an oscillating body 61 capable of oscillating due to the engagement with and disengagement from the other side part of the door 5 one side of which is pivoted. The second transmitting means 7 has a moving body 71 capable of sliding due to the engagement with and disengagement from a part near the engaging and disengaging position of the first transmitting means 6 in the other side part of the door 5.
