PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presentation support system suitable for making a flexible and effective presentation. SOLUTION: A presenter portable terminal 140 and a plurality of viewer portable terminals 190 and a virtual object managing device 100 are communicably connected. The virtual object managing device 100 transmits, according to an request from the presenter, an answer request requesting for an answer to a question concerning the content of the presentation to the viewer portable terminals 190. When the virtual object managing device 100 receives an answer to the question by the transmission, the received answer results are summed up and displayed on the presenter portable terminal. When the virtual object managing device 100 receives response opportunity giving requests from viewer portable terminals 190, it randomly selects a viewer portable terminal 190 to be given the response opportunity among the viewer portable terminals from which response opportunity providing requests are made, and the above selection is notified to the selected viewer portable terminal.
