SOLUTION: A transmission terminal 1 transmits location information, specifying its installation place by weak radio waves, an add-in terminal 2 connected to a portable telephone 3 receives the location information, and the portable telephone 3 automatically transmits the location information. The location information is transmitted to a contents server 5 from a base station 4 via a communication network, and the contents server 5 retrieves providing information, corresponding to the received location information, and returns the providing information to the portable telephone 3 which is the transmission source of the location information from the base station 4 via the communication network to provide a portable telephone owner with the information.
