INTERFACE AGENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface agent system for allowing a user to accept the expression or operation of an interface agent to be displayed without any sense of incompatibility, and for allowing a person who prepares the interface agent system to relatively easily perform the operation design. SOLUTION: This computer system having a graphical user interface for window display capable of reading and editing an electronic document is provided with an interface agent having prescribed display configurations. A specific window to be displayed on a display screen is monitored, and when the state of the window is changed, an operation to allow an interface agent to make an expression is decided according to the contents of the electronic document described this window.
