PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring device, distance measuring facility and distance measuring method capable of performing a precise distance measurement even in a near distance, simultaneously measuring the distances of two or more measuring objects, and detecting the space coordinate of a measuring object. SOLUTION: This measuring device 10 for measuring the distance to the measuring object M comprises a transmission source 11 capable of varying the frequency of an output signal; a transmitting means 12 for emitting an electromagnetic wave having the same frequency as that of the output signal outputted from the transmission source 11; a detecting means 13 provided between the transmission means 12 and the measuring object M, which detects the amplitude of a standing wave S formed between the transmission means 12 and the measuring object M and outputs a detection signal; and a signal processor 14 for forming a detection signal function showing the value of the detection signal to the frequency of the output signal and calculating the distance between the detecting means 13 and the measuring object M from the period.
