PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage to a commodity even upon the trouble of a refrigerating compressor. SOLUTION: A refrigerating device is provided with an outdoor unit (1A) having a first inverter compressor (1B) and an outdoor heat exchanger (4), a cold storage unit (1C) having a cold storage heat exchanger (45) and a refrigerating unit (1D) having a refrigerating heat exchanger (51), whose temperature is lower than that of the cold storage heat exchanger (45). The refrigerating unit (1D) is provided with the refrigerating compressor (53) for compressing refrigerant through 2-stage compression together with the heat source compressor (1B) and a bypass pipe (59) permitting the refrigerant to bypass the refrigerating compressor (53). The bypass pipe (59) is provided with a non-return valve (7) permitting only the flow of refrigerant from the suction side toward the discharging side of the refrigerating compressor (53).
