PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building capable of satisfying customer's desires that straight stairs whose direction of ascent and descent is substantially parallel with a short side of a building unit are provided, sanitary facilities are provided by arranging them in the direction of short side of the building unit in parallel, and entrance of a garage is provided in the direction of short side of the building unit. SOLUTION: This unit building 1 consists of the building unit M on a main body side opposing long sides mutually and the additional building unit S installed by directing the long side in the direction of right angle substantially for the long side of the building unit M on the main body side. The first building unit 2-1-1 and the second building unit 2-1-2 whose short sides are arranged on substantially the same line exist in the building unit M on the main body side. The additional building unit S is installed by opposing the long sides to the short sides of the first building unit 2-1-1 and the second building unit 2-1-2, and the straight stairs whose direction of ascent and descent is substantially parallel with the long side, the sanitary facilities, and the garage are provided in the additional building unit S.
