PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which executes adequate restore processing adequate for the primary factor of an error and a error restore processing method. SOLUTION: The optical disk device 200 has an MPU 170. The MPU 170 includes a drive control section and a decoding control section. The decoding control section outputs an error restore request and the number of times thereof to a drive control section when the section detects the decoding error of the regenerative signal in an ECC decoder 182. The drive control section executes the error restore processing meeting the number of times of the error restore request. As the error restore processing, the phase regulation of the regenerative signal, the correction by the temperature coefficient of laser power, the restartup of a servo system, the optimization of reproducing power and the optimization of the recording laser power are selectively performed. |
