PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a deviation caused by the place of a removal of carbon monoxide in a removal apparatus for carbon monoxide. SOLUTION: A catalyst layer 3 which loads a selective oxidation catalyst oxidizing carbon monoxide and a number of pipes 5 having a number of bores 4 which introduce an oxidizing agent into the hydrogen rich gas flow preparing in the upstream of the hydrogen rich gas flow from the catalyst layer 3 are installed in a case 2 which is a flow path of a hydrogen rich gas flow containing carbon monoxide. A cross section of the pipe 5 is molded into a flat shape. An extended shaft of the flat shape is arranged as there is an inclination to the direction of the flow of the hydrogen rich gas. Herewith, the hydrogen rich gas and the oxidizing agent can be agitated without adding a new agitation means and the carbon monoxide in the catalyst layer is uniformly removed without enlarging an apparatus. |
