PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which does not damage an overrising prevention device such as temperature fuse and a temperature thermostat because the quantity of heat becomes excessive to a recording medium passing through a fixing part right after the occurrence of overshoot and temperature at the inside of a machine rises. SOLUTION: This image forming device provided with a device to fix an unfixed image is provided with a belt laid over a pair of rollers, a pressing roller linked by being opposed and abutting to/on one of the pair of the rollers and a heat source incorporated in the roller on a side not opposed to the pressing roller out of the pair of the rollers and the pressing roller, and performs control to lower the control temperature of a roller surface on the side not opposed to the pressing roller and a pressing roller surface right after a last recording medium passes the fixing device. |
