<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transfer operation excellently in spite of the fluctuation of the carrying speed of a downstream side sheet material carrying means 5. SOLUTION: This sheet material carrying mechanism is equipped with a guide control means 20 controlling to move a sheet direction guide member 10 arranged to turn in an up-and-down direction so that the carrying direction of sheet material 2 fed from a transfer part 4 may be switched to either an upward direction or a downward direction up and down by using a guide driving means 14, and also controlling to carry the sheet material 2 fed from the transfer part 4 in a linear state to the downstream side sheet material carrying means 5 when the carrying speed by the carrying means 5 is lower than that by the transfer part 4, and carry the sheet material 2 fed from the transfer part 4 to the carrying means 5 while curving it to hang in a loop state downward when the carrying speed by the carrying means 5 is made higher than that by the transfer part 4.</p> |
