PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a data amount and restore image information with high resolution in an imaging device. SOLUTION: A converter 53 applies arithmetic processing to a signal from each energy conversion device in the unit of a sensor block 52 comprising a prescribed number of adjacent energy conversion devices among a plurality of energy conversion devices to generate a plurality of conversion signals in processing signals obtained from a sensor array 51 including a plurality of the energy conversion devices. A plurality of the conversion signals generated by the converter 53 include a conversion signal X101 including local average generated by summing the signals obtained from the sensor block 52 and 2nd conversion signals X102-X104 including differences among the signals obtained from the block. Then the conversion signals outputted from the converter 53 are simultaneously or sequentially outputted.
