PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch with excellent functional property and workability which can be operated only by push-in operation. SOLUTION: The push switch is composed of a knob main body 4 and a cylinder-shaped body fitted to the knob main body 4, and the cylinder-shaped body is composed of a knob top 5 which can take a first position most deeply inserted into the knob main body 4, and a second position most shallowly inserted into the knob main body 4 by changing the level of fitting into the knob main body 4, and a spring 6 mounted between the knob top 5 and the knob main body 4 in a state of being compressed, and pressing the knob top 5 toward the second position at all times. When the knob top 5 is keeping the first position or the second position, the position of the knob top 5 can be changed to the first position or to the second position by adding a pressing force to the knob top 5 against the spring 6.
