PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electron gun for a color cathode-ray tube equipped with a main electron lens with small aberration by further enlarging passing holes for electron beam and making an aperture of the main electron lens larger. SOLUTION: The electron guns are provided with electrodes arrayed in-line and equipped with three passing holes for electron beam to pass through with their plate thickness of a bridge part made between the adjoining passing holes 1S, 1C and that of a bridge part made between the passing hole 1S and an outer wall formed thinner than that of a parent material of the electrodes.
