PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article photographing device capable of being installed in a narrow space without taking up space, turning various planes of a subject to a camera, and making the camera follow the locational movement of the subject associated with the turning of the planes. SOLUTION: The article photographing device is provided with the camera 3 capable of moving vertically, backward and forward, and to both sides and a gripping device 4 for gripping the subject below the camera 3 in such a way that the subject is freely attached and detached. A subject gripping part 25 of the gripping device 4 is freely rotated on a horizontal shaft along a front-to- rear direction and a shaft 27 which intersects the horizontal shaft at right angles.
