PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling roller unit capable of compacting slot, hole or the like during backfilling or after backfilling without being required for any exclusive self-propelling vehicle. SOLUTION: The rolling roller unit is capable of being detached attachably to the front end of a bucket arm 4 of a self-propelling excavator 3 instead of a bucket, and a reciprocating vibration generator 2 for vertically reciprocative vibration is put between a rolling roller 1 and a bucket mounting section to enable a ditch 8 to be effectively compacted during the back-filling or after the back-filling.
