<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sequentially or stepwise change a lift amount and a working angle of a valve by rotating one camshaft, without largely changing a conventional drive system. SOLUTION: A seesaw arm 7 is pivotally attached to a rocker arm 1, a first roller 9 and a second roller 10 are provided to both ends of the seesaw arm 7, a camshaft 22 formed with a first rotation cam 20 and a second rotation cam 21 pushing the first roller 9 is pivotally supported, and an interposing member is arranged to be capable of displacement. Accordingly, when the second rotation cam 21 is rotated to act on the interposing member, the interposing member displaces to act on the second roller 10. A relative angle control device is provided which changes the lift amount and working angle of the valve 5 by sequentially or stepwise changing an operating amount of the second roller 21 by the interposing member depending on an operating condition of an internal combustion engine.</p> |
