PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contact parts of square pin terminals from abutting to the inner wall surface of the through holes even if the square pin terminals are inserted into the through holes. SOLUTION: This connector 10 for a circuit board has a plurality of nearly rectangular cross-sectional square pin terminals 12 projecting from one surface by being respectively inserted from the other surface side of the board into a plurality of first through holes 11 formed on the board B, and a housing 13 equipped with these respective square pin terminals. The contact parts for electrically contacting a contact piece possessed with a mating connector are arranged at least on one of an upper surface or an under surface of the square pin terminals. A square pin terminal guide part is arranged in the second through hole of the housing for inserting projecting parts of the respective square pin terminals for regulating a vertical movement of the square pin terminals to the second through hole, and guiding the inserted square pin terminals so that the contact parts arranged in the square pin terminals do not contact the inner wall upper surface of the second through hole or an inner wall under surface of the second through hole.
