PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp with photocatalyst which has the effect of deodorizing, antibacterial and antifouling of surface by chemically altering odor, bacteria and dirt existing in the atmosphere at room temperature, as well as to prevent ultraviolet ray emitted from the fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: A light-transmitting transparent photocatalyst film made of anatase type titanium oxide is formed on the exterior surface of a glass tube of the fluorescent lamp. By irradiating light on the thin film photocatalyst, odor element, fungi, dirt element and the like are decomposed and deodorized, become antibacterial and antifouling on the exterior surface of the photocatalyst film as in chemical reaction. In addition, the thin film photocatalyst absorbs ultraviolet ray. |
