SOLUTION: A canister 9 provided in a purge passage, a purge control valve 10, a control means 20 opening/closing the purge control valve 10 in accordance with an operating condition, a means 18 detecting an intake pipe pressure Pb, a means detecting at least one of atmospheric pressure PA, outside air temperature TG, intake air temperature TA, and fuel temperature TT, a means 19 detecting an internal pressure Pt of a fuel tank, a means 20 detecting materialization of an abnormality decision condition in the case of fuel gas concentration smaller than a compared reference value, a means adjusting a purge amount in accordance with the intake pipe pressure Pb when the abnormality decision condition is materialized, a means detecting abnormality based on the internal pressure Pt of the fuel tank when the abnormality decision condition is materialized, and a condition materialization limit means correcting the compared reference value in accordance with at least one of the atmospheric pressure PA, the fuel temperature TT, the outside air temperature TG, and the intake air temperature TA, are included.
