PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for segments, etc., which can connect the segments, etc. together through one-touch operation. SOLUTION: According to the joint, when a segment Sb is brought closer to a segment Sa, an aligning pin 3a of a male member 3 is fitted into a central hole 1e of a male member 1 and guided, and an insertion portion 3c is inserted into a gap between a fixed portion 1c of the female member 1 and an aligning cylinder 1a. Thereafter, an outer surface of the insertion portion 3c is brought into contact with an inner surface of the fixed portion 1c, and the insertion portion 3c is progressively elastically deformed according to movement of the segment Sb, whereby an engaging claw 3b is engaged with an engaging claw 1b of the female member 1 immediately before abutment of joint surfaces Sat, Sbt of the respective segments Sa, Sb. In this manner, connection between the segments Sa, Sb is achieved while the joint surfaces Sat, Sbt are abutted on each other.
